The municipal picture-gallery Francesco Podesti of Ancona is inside the Bosdari palace and collects extraordinary paintings to understand the value of painting in Marche region from XIV to XIX century. Among the various works, of which some are from Veneto region there are works of painters such as Olivuccio dal Ciccarello and Arcangelo di Cola, paintings of Carlo Crivelli, Sebastiano del Piombo and Lorenzo Lotto. The '600 is well represented by two wonderful works by Orazio Gentileschi and Guercino.
