San Ciriaco cathedral is built over the remains of a Greek Italic temple of the IV century b.C. and on the early Christian basilica of the V-VI century. From the cathedral, situated on the hill Guasco, it is possible to admire a wonderful panorama. The building is a combination of Romanic, Byzantine and Greek architectures. During the XIV century it was dedicated to San Ciriaco, patron saint of the town. The body of the Saint is preserved in the left side of the building, in a crypt.
