I'm in: - home page > Monte San Vito

Monte San Vito can be found on the left side of the low Esino valley. The historical centre develops on the top of a hill between the streams Triponzio and Guardengo. The territory of Monte San Vito is known for the production of olive oil, in fact it has been called olive oil production land and has been one of the founders of the Associazione Nazionale Città dell'Olio. In Monte San Vito it is possible to visit the Historical oil mill San Dolci, dating back to the XVII century, left unchanged until today with all the original appliances. Remarkably interesting is also the Malatesta palace, today the seat of the Town Hall, built at the beginning of the XV century.
